Hi. My name is Alex and I am a college professor in psychology and research. I thoroughly enjoy influencing the learning of individuals of all ages and contributing to their development as people. I ensure that each lesson is tailored to the needs and ability level of the learner. I have been teaching at the college level for 3 years, and have taught a range of psychology classes at Salem State College, Mount Ida College, Lasell College, and have served as a TA multiple times at Boston University. I have a master’s degree in clinical psychology and am one year away from my doctorate in counseling psychology with a specialization in sport psychology.
If you are looking for individualized instruction in psychology or research, I can certainly meet your needs. I have taught such psychology classes as intro, sport, social, and counseling skills. I have some experience in research in the applied setting, as well as having served as a TA at Boston University for a graduate-level research class. I am also scheduled to teach a research methods course at the undergraduate level this fall. I know that true learning can take a fair amount of time, and that there will bumps along the way. I can ensure you that patience, persistence, and motivation are an integral part of my teaching repertoire, and I look forward to working with you!
